Conference support

The CASCA Board is pleased to announce an annual call for requests for financial support for conference organization. This program is targeted at conferences primarily led by undergraduate and graduate students and whose goals are aligned with CASCA’s mission to support professional astronomy in both research and education. At least one of the event organizing members must be a CASCA member, else a CASCA member must be identified as a sponsor for the purpose of the funding application. Application is via the following form. The Board requests funding requests be submitted by Oct. 1 of each year for conferences starting in the following calendar year. Requests received after that time will be evaluated but funds may not be available. CASCA prioritizes support for conferences of broad appeal to the astronomical community over focused meetings.
