Less than 6 months ago, CFHT held its Users’ Meeting at Lac-à-L’Eau-Claire, in Québec. The Schedule page now includes links to most of the slides and recordings for the three days of talks. You can refresh your memory or revisit topics that included CFHT and Maunakea updates and science talks, ideas for future technical opportunities with CFHT, discussions regarding the upcoming Community Survey, and a very informative session about Community Astronomy.

The Community Survey Working Group is actively working on the details of the Call for Proposals, which
is scheduled to be released this fall. Nominally carried out for 5 years or more on MegaCam and
Wenaokeao starting in 2027B (at the earliest), the Community Survey will be an ambitious, scientific
community-led program. Designed to serve the widest possible community of CFHT users, this survey
will have a significant scientific impact and legacy value.
