The Department of Physics & Astronomy invites applications for two
sessional positions in the September-April, 2019 and 2020 terms. The
first position will teach 12 credit hours including 74:151 General
Physics I and 74:152 General Physics II plus associated first year
laboratories and 74:382 Intermediate Mechanics. The second position will
teach 6 credit hours including 74:383 Electromagnetic Field and Waves and
74:473 Atomic and Nuclear Physics.
Qualifications: A PhD is preferred; however, candidates with a Master’s
degree and successful record of teaching experience may be considered.
Application Deadline: April 15th, 2019, or until the position is filled.
Start dates: Position 1, August 31, 2019; Position 2, December 28, 2019
Salary: $6205 for each 3 credit hour course
