Job Announcement:

A PhD Position is available at the Institute of Astro- and Particle
Physics of the University of Innsbruck.

The PhD project is in the field of observational extragalactic
astrophysics. Experience with data reduction and analysis is highly
desirable.

The PhD position is fully funded for 3 years. The gross salary will be
about 2022.- €/month (14x yearly). Applications should be received by

Applicants should hold a MSc in Physics, Astronomy/Astrophysics or
related fields. They should send:

– a detailed CV
– a motivation letter
– all master certificates and undergraduate level certificates
including a diploma supplement with a list of courses and grades
– a list of previous scientific experiences and skills
– a synopsis of the diploma/master thesis

Additionally, the candidates are required to provide email addresses
of two experienced scientists willing to provide a letter of
reference.
